Quality Assurance
With more than 50 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing hydraulic cylinders and more than fourteen years of working according to certified quality management systems, IHC Vremac Cylinders B.V. wants high quality in a professional organisation. This year we achieved compliance with the latest version of ISO 9001:2008.
In 2008 LRS awarded us a gold certificate for 10 years of succesfull audits!
Health, safety and the environment are high priorities in our organisation. These are the basics that are needed to create a sound working environment for our employees.
The quality management system guarantees the quality of our processes and products. This is demonstrated by the high standards in the welding shop, as certified by Germanischer Lloyd. Welders and procedures are certified by Lloyd’s. After welding the welds are tested with non destructive testing using ultrasonic, magnetic or X-ray.
Checkpoints are embedded at several stages in the production process, to make sure the product will meets the requirements of our clients, the contracted surveying party and of course our own standard. This includes incoming and outgoing quality assurance inspections and hydraulic testing with high standard calibrated measurement tools.
This can all beachieved with the robust inspection and test plans (ITP), that are drafted at the beginning of projects. We can deliver cylinders to the automotive industry that comply with customer demands like PPAP.
We have the resources that allow us to meet the high standards of independent certification agencies such as Lloyd’s, DNV, Germanischer Lloyd, ABS, Bureau Veritas, RINA and others.
